
In her new role, Stephanie will lead, manage, and direct ADB’s vision and goals to ensure efficiency, relevance and impact of IT for ADB operations.

Asian Development Bank recently announced the appointment of Stephanie King-chung Hung as Chief Information Officer and Director General of the Information Technology Department (ITD). She will lead, manage, and direct the planning and implementation of the ITD’s vision, goals, strategies and work plan in support of overall ADB goals, and ensure efficiency, relevance and impact of IT for ADB operations.
Prior to this, Stephanie was the Senior Vice President of ST Engineering for almost 5 years, where she developed strategic alliance partnership and strengthened partner ecosystems, and built a network of communities around cloud competencies in engineering and technology. She also worked at Microsoft for 7 years where she was responsible for developing and growing business, building partnership and customer relationships in the Public Sector while enhancing Microsoft brand share and equity, driving team effectiveness and execution excellence.
Stephanie has also worked with IBM and Hewlett-Packard in client-facing and distribution roles for ASEAN, and will build on her new role from her extensive experiences in the industry.
With nearly three decades of experience, Stephanie holds a Master’s in Business Administration degree from The University of Chicago School Booth of Business, and Bachelor’s in Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
