Oracle has recently announced that India’s Ministry of Education has opted for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to modernize the ‘Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing’ (DIKSHA), the national education technology platform. The goal of this migration is to enhance DIKSHA’s accessibility and decrease its IT expenses. This platform serves 1.48 million schools across India’s 35 states and union territories and is available in 36 Indian languages. MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse supports a range of object store file formats including CSV, Parquet, and export files from other databases. This innovation allows the combination of object storage file data and MySQL database transactional data within a single query, all without the need to copy the data into the MySQL database.
