SANTA CLARA, California, July 25, 2024 – Hitachi Vantara, the subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501) specialising in data storage, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud management, has announced the general availability of its initial offerings from the Hitachi iQ portfolio of AI-ready infrastructure, solutions, and services. This includes the certification for NVIDIA DGX BasePOD™, which ensures the highest standards of performance and reliability, enabling customers to power their critical AI applications seamlessly. Featuring the Hitachi Content Software for File solution, Hitachi iQ provides the speed, efficiency, and processing needed to accelerate and optimise time to insights, driving transformative business outcomes.

The release of Hitachi iQ is timely, as organisations globally are prioritising the implementation of GenAI. According to a recent Enterprise Strategy Group survey, 97% of organisations view GenAI as a top-five priority. However, less than half (44%) have comprehensive GenAI policies, and only slightly more than a third (37%) believe their infrastructure and data ecosystems are well-prepared for GenAI solutions.

Customers can choose from a range of consultative AI services, from a three-week Discovery programme to a 12-week Advisory and Jumpstart programme, which includes technology assessment, proof of concept scoping, production planning, and more.
