Tenable Enables Global Fashion Group to Enhance Cloud Security and Improve Cyber Risk Communication

Tenable One integrates security tools into a single platform, enhancing visibility and contextual understanding of the attack surface.

Singapore, August 21, 2024Tenable®️, a leader in exposure management, has announced that Global Fashion Group (GFG), a prominent online fashion and lifestyle platform across ANZ, LATAM, and SEA, has selected Tenable One to optimise the security and visibility of its Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud workloads.

GFG, which launched its first platform in 2011, now operates three fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platforms across 11 countries, linking over 6,000 international, local, and proprietary brands to a customer base of 800 million people.

By partnering with Tenable, GFG has effectively addressed the challenge of securing its cloud workloads and vital assets hosted on AWS. With operations spread across multiple regions, GFG’s IT team has streamlined technologies, mitigated cloud vulnerabilities, and fortified the security of the company’s most crucial IT assets. To build a robust enterprise security framework, GFG has adopted a zero-trust network access strategy and focused on conveying business risks effectively to key stakeholders.

Aleksandar Radosavljevic, Global Chief Information Security Officer at GFG, commented, “Tenable One spans our IT assets, cloud resources, web applications, and active directory. Their solutions help us anticipate threats and prioritise remediation across our attack surface by focusing on addressing vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and entitlement issues. Cloud-based services are a key part of our business, so this preventative approach helps us enhance our cloud security posture and protect customer and business data. As an exposure management platform, Tenable One allows me to see assets, vulnerabilities, cloud misconfigurations, entitlement and overprivileged identities, and identity system flaws across our three sites in a single view. We’ve been able to integrate and consolidate expensive point tools, which improve visibility and control across our attack surface.”

Due to Tenable’s reporting tools, GFG is now capable of effectively communicating cyber risks to non-technical stakeholders, thereby providing actionable insights that are consistent with the company’s strategic objectives.

Tenable’s solutions, such as exposure analytics and reporting functions, have been crucial in effectively conveying risk and setting clear risk objectives and service level agreements. These capabilities enhance business accountability and ensure that resources and budgets are better aligned based on risk. By leveraging Tenable, GFG has improved the discoverability of IT assets, enhanced integrations, and simplified licensing processes. These improvements have reduced the complexity of tools and lowered costs, resulting in significant time savings and an overall stronger security stance for GFG.

Nigel Ng, Senior Vice President, APJ, at Tenable, reflected on the collaboration’s success, saying, “Our work with GFG showcases Tenable’s commitment to delivering solutions that not only address complex cybersecurity challenges but also align with the unique needs of our clients, facilitating their global operations.”
