Nutanix Appoints Daryush Ashjari as CTO for Asia-Pacific and Japan

Singapore, November 19, 2024 – Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX) has announced the appointment of Daryush Ashjari as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, building on his role as Vice President of Solution Engineering, which he has held for the past two years.

Based in Sydney, Daryush oversees a team of engineers across the APJ region, driving Nutanix’s technical strategy and fostering collaborations with corporate and government clients. His new responsibilities as CTO will encompass engineering leadership, technical operations, and the development of innovative solutions tailored to the demands of today’s hybrid multicloud environments. He will also play a pivotal role in engaging with c-level executives across the region.

With over 38 years of experience in the IT sector, Daryush is a seasoned professional who has worked with renowned companies such as IBM, Novell, Cisco, Citrix, EMC, and McAfee. A qualified electrical, electronic, and computer science engineer, he also holds multiple industry certifications and is a certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner.
