Zscaler Unveils ‘Zero Trust Everywhere’ Innovations to Strengthen Multi-Cloud and Branch Security

Zscaler, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZS), a global leader in cloud security, has announced a new suite of solutions designed to accelerate the adoption of Zero Trust across modern enterprise environments. The updates to its Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange™ platform enable businesses to implement Zero Trust Everywhere—from users and devices to cloud workloads and remote branches.

As organisations across Asia Pacific and beyond embrace digital transformation, they face growing complexity in managing distributed users, IoT and OT systems, and multi-cloud architectures. Zscaler’s latest innovations provide integrated controls to eliminate lateral threat movement, reduce the attack surface, and simplify legacy infrastructure—all while enabling enterprises to scale securely.

“Zscaler’s latest innovations for the Zero Trust Exchange truly extends Zero Trust Everywhere beyond users and redefines the enterprise security and networking by seamlessly unifying operations, strengthening threat defenses, and enabling secure connectivity across users, devices, applications, branches, and clouds with better visibility and experience—no matter how complex or distributed the environment,” said Dhawal Sharma, EVP Product Strategy, Zscaler. “With this expanded Zero Trust Everywhere approach, organisations can accelerate security modernization, mitigate risks, and protect data everywhere business happens.”

Key Announcements

  • Zero Trust Branch Appliance: A unified hardware solution that replaces legacy firewalls, VLANs, NACs, and VDIs, securing communications across branches, campuses, and factories. It also enables granular OT and IoT segmentation—critical for protecting legacy systems—and introduces disposable jumpboxes for secure, time-limited contractor access. This solution is now generally available.
  • Zero Trust Gateway for Cloud Workloads: A cloud-native service on AWS that secures East-West and internet-bound traffic between workloads and VPCs/VNETs—without agents or virtual machines. Available now, this solution significantly reduces attack surfaces and complexity in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Microsegmentation for Cloud Workloads: Zscaler expands its AI-driven segmentation with a host-based service for cloud and on-premise environments. It applies granular process-level security policies, enhancing protection for high-value assets against lateral threats. The Zscaler Workload Agent captures detailed traffic and device context. This capability is generally available.
  • Zero Trust B2B Exchange: A new platform that facilitates secure inter-organisational collaboration without relying on VPNs or MPLS. It allows businesses to share apps with partners securely, supporting faster, safer mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Available for limited use cases, with broader access coming soon.
