ManageEngine AD360 Expansion: Elevating IAM Integration Capabilities

Singapore, 23 April 2025ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho Corporation, has unveiled a significant expansion to AD360, its identity and access management (IAM) platform. With the addition of over 100 new prebuilt integrations, the company aims to enhance its converged IAM capabilities and simplify identity governance across complex IT environments.

These integrations cover a broad range of enterprise applications—including HRMS, ITSM, SIEM, and more—and are supported by REST APIs, enabling custom integrations with both third-party and proprietary systems.

Bridging Gaps in Enterprise Identity Ecosystems

In large-scale IT environments, fragmented systems often lead to disjointed identity management, contributing to delays, operational inefficiencies, and heightened security risk. According to Gartner’s March 2025 report on cybersecurity trends, enterprises typically juggle an average of 45 security tools across a landscape of more than 3,000 vendors—making unified identity governance increasingly critical.

Gartner’s 2024 IAM Leadership Survey found that 54% of organisations had experienced a rise in identity-related security incidents, with one in three suffering operational or financial impacts. Machine identities—such as service or automation accounts—accounted for 85% of these breaches. Meanwhile, Verizon’s 2024 Data Breach Investigations Report highlighted that 31% of breaches since 2013 stemmed from stolen credentials.

In this context, unified and continuously updated identity access data isn’t just an IT requirement—it’s essential for compliance, security, and operational resilience.

“Our vision is to eliminate identity fragmentation and radically simplify enterprise identity governance,” said Manikandan Thangaraj, vice president at ManageEngine. “With AD360’s expanded integrations, we’re empowering businesses to build truly unified digital ecosystems. With this release, we want to help our customers transform identity management from an operational burden into a strategic enabler of productivity, agility, and security. Now, a hospital can auto-provision clinician access in Epic EHR the same day they’re hired in Workday, with no coding and no delays.”

Accelerating Deployment, Enabling Agility

The expanded integration suite leverages open standards such as SCIM, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and REST APIs. AD360’s no-code configuration interface enables IT teams to rapidly set up integrations and automate identity workflows—reducing project timelines from months to days.

Among the key benefits of this expanded network:

  • Faster Time to Value: Organisations can quickly connect their identity ecosystems, reduce manual overhead, and streamline onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Greater Flexibility: A wide integration range enables enterprises to retain vendor independence and support evolving business needs.
  • Advanced Identity Orchestration: Sophisticated no-code automation supports secure provisioning, access changes, and deprovisioning without manual intervention.
  • Regulatory Readiness: Automated identity alignment supports audit-readiness for GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and other compliance regimes.

Thangaraj added: “The interoperability between critical business applications streamlines processes such as onboarding and offboarding, delivering measurable business value and accelerating ROI. Legacy IAM tools often treat integrations as an afterthought, requiring months to integrate an organisation’s IAM tech stack with ITSM or HCM tools. AD360 helps accomplish this with just a few clicks. It’s not just about connecting systems—it’s about fundamentally changing how enterprises manage identities while minimising security risks.”
