They disclosed that their local workforce in Singapore has grown by more than 100% in the past two years, now comprising over 100 employees, and they have intentions to continue recruiting over the next 12 months. This expansion follows closely on the heels of their successful Series I fundraise, which garnered over US$500 million. This sustained growth underscores the rising demand for generative AI solutions in Singapore.

In response to increasing customer needs across the ASEAN region, this expansion includes the addition of key personnel such as technical experts, sales and support engineers, as well as go-to-market strategists. Furthermore, Databricks proudly shared that it ranks as one of the world’s fastest-growing software companies, boasting a revenue run rate exceeding US$1.5 billion.
